Bernie Choiniere has been a presence in the Catholic Contemporary Christian music scene for over 16 years. His mission is to spread the Gospel message and the hope that lies there in. By helping to convey the love of God, and stressing a need for a personal relationship with Christ, his heartfelt songs present a call to action and a challenge to service. Bernie’s ministry reaches all ages but especially youth and families. Bernie speaks to the doubting Thomas in everyone.
Although brought up Catholic, he eventually turned away from God and toward more worldly pursuits. Bernie tells his story on how he found Christ through the power of the rosary and how a series of super natural phenomenon and miracles satisfied his need for faith. The impact of his story has helped many Catholics rekindle their zeal for Christ and a re-commitment to prayer on their own faith journeys.
Bernie’s ministry has taken him across New England and the US. He has provided the music for retreats, liturgies, praise and worship concerts, Adoration and healing services for youth rallies, and family conferences all over New England and different parts of the country.

Bernie is a homeschooling dad of 4 daughters. Recently, Bernie and three of his daughters, who sing in 3 part harmony, performed at the Indiana Catholic Family Conference where they were featured throughout the event.

In past summers, Bernie has ministered and performed with Catholic Heart Work Camp, a service ministry based in Florida. Bernie is an artist for World Library Publications where his music is being published and distributed. He is very proud of his second CD, With You from which the song, Emmanuel, was nominated for 2003 Unity Awards Best Modern Rock/Alternative Song of the Year and was the winner.
